Charming little place, I loved very very nice personnel.
The hotel room was immaculately clean with modern bath and kitchen, for instance. Magnificent and amazing location for what I needed.

Immaculately clean hotel with very very helpful staff and perfect location so close to lively Sanjo and the train station and a popular part of town and all touristic hotspots in central Kyoto. Variety of goodies for breakfast. Good service too. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property...

My partner and I recently stayed at Gion Hanna Stay for 5 nights and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided us with great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. The room was like a mini apartment, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, and comfortable beds. The attention to detail was impressive, from the hand-written greeting card to the high-quality bathroom products. The location was also ideal, with easy access to public transportation and popular attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.
Do recommend this hotel.

As a solo traveler, I loved the friendly and knowledgeable staff who provided great tips on local eateries and supermarkets. the room had a kitchenette with a washing machine, and the drying room was a fantastic bonus. the hotel also provided detergent, which was helpful. the local recipes in the kitchen were a nice touch. the internet connection was good, and the hotel's location made it easy to access the subway station, Gion, and temples.
Felt like being home, no reason to complain.

The room had everything we needed and the place was super clean! It's located in a cozy area, not too far from the closest subway station and pretty close to a train station. Checking out the Gion district nearby was a real treat! 🌟

Located on the outskirts of the Gion District and next door to a cemetery, Gion Hanna Stay offers a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Despite its peaceful setting, it's just a short walk from the nearest tube station and within easy reach of the better temples. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities such as a kitchenette and washing machine, and the bathroom features a large sink and separate shower area.
The pillows are Japanese style and filled with a noisy grain, which may not suit everyone's preference.

Loved the fact that the hotel was centrally located and close to all the attractions. the rooms were equipped with a kitchen and a large bathroom, which were a plus during my stay. the staff were also quite accommodating and friendly.
The front desk wasn't available 24 hours, which was quite inconvenient. the room size could have been bigger, and there weren't enough power outlets for all my devices.

Our stay at Gion Hanna Stay was exceptional. The hotel room was modern, clean, and comfortable, equipped with convenient technology like a laundry machine and kitchenette. The location was perfect, close to the subway and surrounded by attractions and restaurants. The young English speaking staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. Despite a minor issue with the room views, we were more than satisfied with our overall experience. I highly recommend Gion Hanna Stay for your stay in Kyoto.

The guest rooms at Gion Hanna Stay are absolutely stunning! They are elegantly furnished with beautiful Japanese floral colors, which create a charming and cozy atmosphere. As a fan of traditional Japanese culture, I couldn't help but feel immersed in the ancient poetries that inspired the room's decor.
Personally, I found the fully equipped kitchen to be a bit small. However, I understand that others might still find it convenient for preparing simple meals.

Had a decent stay at this hotel during xmas season. The staff was friendly and helpful and ensured we had a comfortable stay. The location was also great as it was close to many shops and restaurants. We appreciated the well-maintained amenities and particularly the clean bathroom. It's good that there was an equipped kitchen that saved our pocket by allowing us to cook our own meals.
The rooms were quite small and cramped, making it hard to relax in the evening. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were too hard.
